AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO DONATE ANNUALLY A SUM OF MONEY NOT EXCEEDING $3,000.00 TO THE 1699 HISTORICAL COMMITTEE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Jackson County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may donate annually a sum not exceeding Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00), from any available funds, to the 1699 Historical Committee.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, and shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2003.
